BLOCK: An align honed, torque plate diamond finished honed, parallel decked, GM 350 4bolt 1 piece rear main seal block, with ARP main studs.

CRANK: 4340 Forged Steel, 3.750 stroke, nitride hardened, 1 piece rear main seal crankshaft with increased radii and lightening holes in all rods. Micro-polished to a single digit RA.

RODS: 4340 6.000” Forged I beam rods with 7/16 ARP cap screw bolts.

CAMSHAFT: Comp Cams custom hydraulic roller camshaft with 112 degree lobe separation.

PISTONS AND RINGS: 10.0-1 forged aluminum pistons with plasma moly rings.

GASKETS: Felpro complete set

OIL PUMP AND DELIVERY: Melling HV pump, Moroso pickup tube, and ARP drive shaft.

OIL PAN: Moroso 7qt. 8 1/4" deep with kicked out sump and trap door internal baffling. Installed with ARP fasteners.

BALANCE: Externally zero balanced with new 8" SFI harmonic balancer and flexplate.

CYLINDER HEADS: DART Pro 1 Platinum, 2.02/1.60, 215cc intake runner Aluminum Cylinder heads with stainless valve train. Fastened with ARP head bolts.

PUSHRODS AND ROCKERS: Full Roller, 1.50 ratio rocker arms, with extra large full needle bearing trunions for increased HP and hardened aftermarket pushrods.

INTAKE MANIFOLD: RPM Air Gap with ARP intake bolts.

WATER PUMP: Edelbrock High Performance short style

DISTRIBUTOR AND WIRES: Hei High Performance with Taylor 8mm, 90 degree plug wires.

CARBURETION: Quick Fuel 830cfm, billet throttle body, mechanical secondary, with electric choke.

The most aggressive of our CH383 combinations packs the wallop of a big block in small block dimensions. Usually you will see these numbers associated with larger cubic inch small blocks. Why? Crate engine assemblers will not take the time or have the ability to extract the full potential from a combination. We have put in the time, and created the true 383 “Anti-Crate” for any high performance enthusiast.
